Permanent, sole charge nanny position available looking after a lively two year old boy and a baby girl who will be 10 months at the start of the position. The eldest child attends nursery three days a week (Monday, Wednesday and Friday). The family are looking for a nanny who can become part of the family and stay with them long term (minimum 2 years). Mum is currently on maternity leave and will return to work at the start of August. Salary: Up to £569 Gross per week Duties: - Nursery Duties - To include menu planning and preparing healthy, home-cooked meals and batch cooking, children’s laundry, keeping the children’s rooms and play areas tidy - Continuing to support the youngest through the weaning stage (Youngest is dairy intolerant so meals would need to be made accordingly) - Supporting the eldest through potty training - Maintaining the youngest child's sleep routine - Nursery pick up and drop off - Maintaining eldest child’s social activities i.e. attending local playgroups and organising playdates - Planning fun and stimulating, age appropriate activities for the youngest child while the eldest is at nursery, both at home and in the local area Requirements: - Previous sole charge nanny experience (bonus if live in experience) - Weaning and potty training experience - Ability to support with putting boundaries in place and behaviour management - Fluent English speaker - DBS up to date - Paediatric first aid certificate - Verifiable references - Ideally have a childcare qualification This role would suit: This role would suit a nanny who is good at maintaining open communication with the family and who is energetic and bubbly.
