A lovely family are relocating to the Newcastle upon Tyne area from America for a 2 year work secondment. The family have 2 children aged 7 and 6 years who will be attending school in Jesmond from January 2018.
The family are flexible in the hours which can be available, the priority is getting the right person who will be able to support the family as much as possible. (Please consider all options and advice which option would work best for you if you were to interested in being considered)
To provide full time cover during school holidays - planning a variety of activities and outings for the children to keep them entertained, whilst encouraging them to settle into their new environment. Hours would be 8am until 6.30pm Monday to Friday during most of the school holiday breaks.
Morning Drop off (7.45am until 8.45am) After school pick up (3.30pm until 4.30pm) plus full time in school holidays. This would be 2 hours per day for 5 days per week and full days during most of the school holiday breaks.
Morning drop off (7.45am until 8.45am) After school pick up (3.30pm until 4.30pm), 1 hour per day for cleaning and errands, plus full time in school holidays. This would be 3 hours per day for 5 days a week plus full days during most of the school holiday breaks.
Afternoon pick up (3.30pm until 5.30pm plus full time during school holiday breaks. An additional hour for cleaning and errands could also be added. This would be 2 or 3 hours per day for 5 days per week plus full days during most of the school holidays breaks.
Flexibility is available, the critical need is having childcare cover in place during the school breaks. A driver is preferred but not essential, the school is within walking distance to the home.
This position would suit someone who is active and likes to encourage a variety of outdoor activities, the children are very outgoing and love to learn new things whilst spending time with family and friends.
The position is available for 2 years commencing January 2018.
