Caring for two boys aged 8 and 10 years old,
Starting September,
Full-time nanny/housekeeper hybrid role with optional PA duties,
Live-out, with the option to live-in Monday–Friday (private accommodation provided), vacating the property at weekends,
Monday–Friday,
Up to 60 hours per week, although the family is happy to discuss fewer hours for the right candidate.
Located in Dinton, on the Oxfordshire/Buckinghamshire border (near Thame).
Looking for a warm, proactive, highly organised nanny/housekeeper who enjoys working with school-aged children and takes pride in maintaining a well-run family home. The ideal candidate will be energetic, flexible, and capable of balancing childcare responsibilities with housekeeping and household management.
The boys are playful, affectionate, and full of personality. They enjoy imaginative play, music, arts and crafts, outdoor adventures, and spending time exploring new activities.
Duties:
Shared responsibility with Mum for school drop-offs and pick-ups.
Supporting the children’s daily routines, activities, and development.
Planning engaging outings and holiday activities.
Cooking fresh family meals and batch cooking to keep the freezer well stocked.
Managing household laundry and ironing.
Deep cleaning and maintaining a large five-bedroom family home.
Keeping household supplies organised and replenished.
General household management and ensuring the home runs smoothly.
Optional PA duties, depending on the candidate’s experience and interest.
Occasional travel with the family on holidays would be welcomed but is not essential.
During school holidays, the focus of the role will shift more heavily towards childcare and organising fun, enriching activities for the boys.
The family has a friendly outdoorsy cat.
Driver essential, car can be provided.
Both boys attend different schools, with one school approximately 20 minutes away and the other around a 40-minute commute. A confident and experienced driver is therefore required.
Mum works part-time, spending two days per week working from home and one day in the office.
Dad works in London four days per week.
The family is looking for someone who can become a valued and trusted part of their household for the long-term.

Salary: £18-£22 gross/ hour depending on experience.
